Candidate Appraiser, Juteau Johnson Comba Inc.
Mr. Fraser is a Candidate Appraiser with Juteau Johnson Comba Inc., having joined the firm in November 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance from Dalhousie University, which he completed in 2021. He is currently enrolled in the Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) Program through the University of British Columbia and is actively pursuing the AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Prior to joining Juteau Johnson Comba, Mr. Fraser worked in Halifax from 2021 to 2024 with a valuation and advisory firm, where he was involved in the preparation of appraisal and consulting reports for a diverse range of real estate assets. His experience spans a broad spectrum of property types, including industrial facilities, office buildings, retail shopping centres, multi-residential apartment buildings, vacant and development land, rural properties such as farms, as well as special-use properties such as churches, restaurants, and planned subdivisions.
Mr. Fraser has completed assignments for a wide variety of clients, including financial institutions, legal professionals, private developers, and government bodies. His work has included current market value appraisals, retrospective valuations, and consulting assignments to support investment analysis, financing, expropriation, estate settlement, and land-use planning.
In the course of his valuation work, Mr. Fraser has conducted market rent analyses, land residual studies, and sales investigations. He is experienced in gathering and interpreting market data, performing site inspections, reviewing zoning and land use policies, and engaging with stakeholders such as municipal officials, real estate brokers, and property owners. His broad exposure to different markets and property types has equipped him with a strong foundation in real estate analysis, supported by a detail-oriented and research-driven approach.
